Mimaki Europe B.V. is a market oriented organization of Japanese origin, founded in Europe in 2004. It is their business to develop and distribute (new) products based on their inkjet and cutting technologies. Mimaki develops industrial large format printers in which they distinguish themselves with their innovative digital colouring and cutting methods. The market in which Mimaki operates can be divided into four segments: Sign Graphics (publicity materials, billboard posters, signs etc), Industrial products (printing in colour and cutting on non-flexible materials such as tiles, plastic and aluminium etc.) and Textile applications and 3D.
Mimaki develops the complete product range for all product lines, both software and hardware.
Job description
Mimaki Europe B.V. is looking for a Senior Print Specialist EMEA
The ideal candidate will be part of our application specialists’ team, to provide the best print solutions within Mimaki’s leading range of printers and world-first technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support customers in the most optimal use of all our print solutions
- Check and print customer sample data and media requirements
- Provide live Print Demonstrations in our showroom and tradeshows
- Work in collaboration with our sales and product marketing teams
- Provide internal and external print application trainings
Qualifications
- 5-8 years’ experience in the Digital print industry as a print operator
- Expert troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Organized and self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organization levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to speak English fluently
- Able to speak in a friendly but always professional way to customers and potential new business opportunities
Please note:
Your full-time on-site presence is a requirement of the job. Please only apply if you are willing and able to commute to our Diemen office and if you’re authorised to work in the Netherlands. Since you will be working closely with our printing technology on a daily basis, remote working is not a possibility within this role.
