“Failed to install the RasterLink Web Service [Code 1]” is shown and RLP5 cannot be installed, what should I do?

Countermeasures

  • This error shows when character the string “RasterLink” is included in the absolute path name of the folder for saving the RLP5 installer. For instance, the error occurs with the following absolute path name: C:UsersmimakidesktopRasterLinkProRLP5SGV240CDMenu.exe. This means the installer named “RLPSGV240” is saved in the “RasterLinkPro” folder created on the desktop screen.
  • The path name is too long for installer to operate correctly. Create an installation folder on the root of the storage drive (i.e. C:RLPinstall). Do not use the “RasterLinkPro” string in the path name.
